The Republic of Molossia is pleased to announce our latest weapon in the never-ending war against East Germany. We have recently deployed MEGAN, the Molossia Eavesdropping Green Aquatic Nexus. MEGAN is an adult female green sea turtle, equipped with a satellite transmitter, and her purpose is to spy on and provide intelligence about East German activities on Ernst Thälmann Island, the last bastion of our arch enemy. MEGAN was released from Tortugero National Park in Costa Rica in July 2022 XLV, and shortly thereafter set out to patrol East German waters, arriving there in October. Currently, MEGAN is patrolling off the coast of Cuba, just south of Ernst Thälmann Island, doing her job superbly. It is estimated that MEGAN will continue to monitor the East Germans for up to a year, providing valuable reconnaissance to aid our war effort. We are proud of our latest military asset, and also rather fond of the idea of having a stealthy sea turtle in our arsenal!
