On 15 July 2023 XLVI, President Leon Montan of the Socialist Federal Union of Ponderosa Hills visited Molossia for the first State Visit between our two nations. Ponderosa Hills' current base is in Tuolumne County, in California. President Montan arrived at 9:39 AM MST and was immediately escorted to Republic Square, where Ponderosa Hills' flag was raised alongside that of Molossia. Subsequent to the playing of both nations' national anthems, His Excellency awarded Molossia's Friendship Medal to President Montan, customary for visiting Heads of State. Following the ceremony, The President and First Lady took President Montan on a tour of Molossia, accompanied by a large group of tourists, as this day was also the July tour of Molossia. During the tour the group saw all the sights of our nation. Following the tour our other guests bid farewell to Molossia as they returned to their homes, and President Montan sat down with His Excellency in the shade next to Government House to discuss micronational matters, especially regarding the development of Ponderosa Hills. Thereafter, President Montan departed Molossia, thus ending a successful diplomatic meeting, a milestone for both of our great nations.
