The new Ten Valora Coin is the third coin created by the Bank of Molossia. Its face shows Emperor Norton I, Emperor of the United States and Protector of Mexico. Emperor Norton is an icon in Molossia and in many of the small nations of the world. The day of his death, January 8th, is celebrated as a national holiday in Molossia and other small countries. It seemed very fitting that his visage should decorate the face of our latest coin. The reverse is shows a compass beneath the coin value, and the quote from Emperor Norton, "To ameliorate the evils under which the country is laboring, and thereby cause confidence to exist, both at home and abroad, in our stability and integrity".
The symbols around the edges of our coins represent not only Molossia's location within the well-known gambling state of Nevada, but also represent Enterprise (Clubs), Strength (Spades), Prosperity (Diamonds) and Happiness (Hearts).
If you wish to purchase one or more of our One, Five or Ten Valora coins, you may do so for US $2.00 each. Please send your request via e-mail here, for further information.
We are quite proud of this latest coinage created by our Government. Hopefully it will become yet another symbol of our nation's progress and prosperity.
