ASSEMBLY MEETING OF 29 MAY 2012 XXXV

The Molossian National Assembly convened on 29 May 2012 XXXV, in the office of the President of
the Republic. In attendance were the resident citizens of Molossia; email contributions were
solicited from non-resident citizens, without response. As the Assembly is a purely advisory
body, no legislative actions took place. The President began the session by briefing the
assembled citizens of the current state of the nation. Thereafter followed a session of old
business and new business. The President took several matters into consideration, and adjourned
the Assembly until the next meeting, at the end of June 2012 XXXV.

State of the Nation:

Molossia's website averages 15,400 hits per day. Our Facebook group has 1855 members. We have
691 Twitter followers. The month of May saw a very successful Founder's Day celebration, taking
place on 27 May 2012 XXXV, delayed a day by rain. There were 15 visitors to our nation, as well
as our resident citizens in attendance. Tours were given, a BBQ took place and The President
read his annual Founder's Day speech. Other activities during May included a successful climb
in the Molossian Alps, a Broomball game and the observance of the Annular Solar Eclipse on 20 May.
In addition, the Pledge of Allegiance was adopted.

Old business:

Still in the planning process are shirts for the Molossia Rangers. A proposal was made that they
have the Molossia flag on the sleeve, which will be adopted. A sash for merit badges will also
be created for the Rangers. The Walk-A-Thon was again mentioned, and is still under consideration.

New business:

A Railroad Day is being planned, to run all of the engines and rolling stock on the Molossia
Railroad. It will take place in conjunction with a BBQ, probably toward the end of June. A trip
to the ghost town of Bodie is planned, possibly a Molossia Rangers expedition, to take place 3
June. The Molossian Ministry for Air and Space Exploration plans an observance of the transit of
Venus across the sun, on 5 June. And the First Family will be traveling to Markleeville for a camping
trip, possibly also a Molossia Rangers expedition, and an opportunity for the Rangers to earn merit
badges. Movies in Norton Park are also tentatively planned, to take advantage of the warm summer evenings.

Matters under consideration:

Discussion still continues on the Rangers uniform shirts and sashes. Discussion also continues on
the Walk-A-Thon, and planning still needs to take place on the Bodie and Markleeville expeditions,
as well as Railroad Day.
